"The kind of beauty I want most is the hard-to-get kind that comes from within -
strength, courage, dignity."  -Ruby Dee

Philosophy

I view therapy as a collaborative process between client and therapist, one that moves the client toward further self-understanding, growth, and healing.
I know that talking about your deepest longings and hopes can be vulnerable and anxiety-producing.

That is why I create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to process these experiences. As a clinician, I approach the variety of relational and sexual issues from an integrated perspective. Together with clients, I consider a number of factors that may contribute to the presenting problems: interpersonal dynamics, physiology, psychology, culture, and social situation.
